Christmas On The Saints
The preparations for Christmas are now in full swing on the Saints: the lights are up, windows are dressed, and the excitement is mounting. The Saints always look great this time of year, we are blessed with some beautiful old buildings.
The Christmas TV adverts are now being aired; it was great to see Visa celebrating small business and the local high street. We can’t promise singing shop owners, but we can give a warm welcome! Please share on social media your ‘shop local’ stories and purchases using #keepitlocal and #thesaintsipswich. It’s great to get feedback from our visitors.
There have been a couple of new additions to the street in recent months, we have welcomed Emma’s Florist - the shop is looking very seasonal. Jackie’s Deli has opened [corner of St Peter’s Street and Rose Lane], offering great breakfasts and lunch to keep you going while Christmas shopping.
The Saints is the perfect destination for Christmas shopping. We have a Harry Potter shop, fabulous fashions for men and women, and a varied array of gifts and homeware for every budget. Why not check out our beauty and hair salons: treat someone you love to a massage or facial this Christmas. How about gifting a new craft or skill: learn to knit at Jenny Wren’s Yarn, learn to sew at Crafty Baba, or learn to play an instrument at Rocket Music. The beauty of shopping local is tapping into the passion and knowledge of the small business owner. Stuck for an idea, or find gift buying difficult? Let us help! At Loveone, they offer a gift-wrapping service, so you don’t even have to hunt for the Sellotape!
Don’t forget to check out the menus of all our restaurants for your festive meals, if you haven’t already booked! We are only a 10-minute walk from the town centre, the Waterfront and the Station, so easily accessible.
The Saints look forward to welcoming you over the Festive Season. We wish you all a very happy and safe Christmas.
